Some things can only be explained from the hidden regions of the heart. Les petits bonheurs are all the little things that make each day a miracle. May I share my feast with you?

You must learn to be still in the midst of activity and to be vibrantly alive in repose.

~Indira Gandhi

My family just returned from an invigorating roadtrip and camping vacation to Big Sky Country, where we enjoyed spending time with our eldest son. The scenery in Montana, Idaho, and Washington brought a sense of deep gratitude and calm. The quiet times hiking and hanging out with my family gave me a new perspective, in much the same way that a yoga inversion pose can.

My respite also engendered a blogging catharsis. Though I have enjoyed some parts of this hobby, such as making lovely new acquaintances and friends, many aspects make this little mama's mind a muddle. Postcards and handwritten letters are lovely ways of communicating. Tea and chats with friends lift the spirits. I'm a little sad to leave you, but blogging for Babette has come to an end.

Avalanche Gorge at Glacier National Park

Call your mother! Write her a letter and seal it with a kiss! Gros bisous!

Finis.

I've been to Avalanche Gorge. Glacier is my favorite park!!! I could stay there forever and never be bored. Were there wildfires burning while you were there? What is your eldest son doing there? Notice I'm avoiding the second part of your blog. It is too painful for me to address. :~(

I am so glad that you had a wonderful time with your family.

If you really must go, adieu...please look in from time to time on my dear little Ella and keep her in your prayers. Pray that soon there will be a cure for CF.

Hugs.

Well then, there will be a letter in the mail within the next couple of days. You can't get rid of me that easily.

Glad you had such a lovely trip!

Please say it isn't so, Babette. You leave a legion of distressed bloggers.

Whatever you decide, I wish you well.

Wait, I did it again. Anonymous was me, Raehan.

I mentioned today in a post that I am fond of love stories about non-romantic love. Well, I love you, sweetie.

I will write via snail mail and also welcome you back if ever you shall wish to join us again.

We have to meet in person, don't you think? Then you won't have to call me an internet friend anymore.

Really? Really truly? I will miss you, dear Babette. But I understand.

I have your address, though. I will write you a letter. And I will seal it with a kiss.

Je suis triste, mon amie. Je n'ai pas ton adresse. I love that country, and never expected to. Helena was lovely and the rest of Montana a treat also. I probably wouldn't like it there in the winter though...Remember how close I am, and how much I like coffee--just a thought. Au revoir.

Ah yes, in my comment I said "adieu," when I really meant "au revoir." I hope that someday our paths might cross, if not here, then over there. Que Dieu te benisse.

I knew this before I read it- it came to me in a dream. Aren't we fortunate that we've had this time to "really" get to know one another? I'll be in touch shortly. Blessings, dear Bonnie.

Again? Is it just me or does it seem like you always call it quits on blogging right before the start of football season.

Guess I'm going to have to find another blogging Spartan cheerleader to pick on this year. With the lack of gridiron success MSU has had lately, it's not going to be easy.

Well, it will be sad if we don't see you back here again. We'll all be blue.

I am emotionally unable to deal with the last few lines of your post, other than to hope I'm reading it wrong. . . .

Just as I found you, now I have to be able to let go. Oh, that is sad. But I am so glad to have come across such a lovely soul, even if it was for such a short season. I do wish we could have known each other long enough in blogdom to have been able to meet in person, seeing as we are quite close with just a border between us. But I wish you well, and I wish your family many blessings. In the short time I've known of your blog, I've learned much and have been blessed by beauty and grace. Thank you for that. I will miss you.

Say it isn't so! I do know what you mean about real letters...I hope you keep in touch. :D

Much love!

I don't even know how much a stamp costs any more, that's how often I actually mail a letter. You'll be back when you apprehend your postage budget.

If not, Bon Chance!

Ack! Not again! Just when I got you all linked up on my sight. How about easing us into it, like posting once a month? Please...don't leave. sniff sniff

I have had that Mary Cassatt picture for years -- it is one of my favorites. I've been wanting to get in touch with you, Bonnie! I will try you via conventional email. Franny has been telling me all about you. We have much to share! My email is jennifer_b@charter.net.

Namaste,
